The Illinois Supreme Court has taken on the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has created for the competent administration of the court system and the justice system in general.

A range of amendments having been made to Supreme Court rules governing the court process and incorporating the need for videoconferencing into the court process in a more organized and methodical fashion while at the same time assuring compliance with the rules of procedure so necessary for our system to continue to move forward in these trying times. It is sure to follow that more such changes will be forthcoming.
